17th International Symposium on Fusion Nuclear Technology (ISFNT-17)

In 2027, UKAEA welcomes you to the inspiring Scottish capital, Edinburgh!

Edinburgh is Scotland’s compact, hilly capital. It is often lauded as the ‘Athens of the North’ for its awe-inspiring architecture and vibrant art. Edinburgh is one of the oldest cities in Europe and is renowned for its history, cobbled streets and international festivals.

It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Looming over the city is Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotland’s crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny, used in the coronation of many different kings and queens in England and in Scotland including Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953 and King Charles III’s coronation in 2023.

We look forward to welcoming you!
